Sheshnag Lake is a high-altitude alpine Lake in Kashmir valley. It is located in the Anantnag district in Jammu and Kashmir. The Lake is about 23 km from Pahalgam. The Sheshnag Lake is an outstanding tourist destination and ancient pilgrim place which sees lot of trekkers during the summer season. This is the most sought out destination for trekking in Kashmir .  The Sheshnag Lake is surrounded by seven green mountains and glaciers which is why the Lake looks greenish and beautiful in color. The water of the lake is clean which is drinkable The Lake is 1.1km long and has 0.7km in width. The lake can be reached only by either a pony ride or by a trekking to this lake.
